Guided Fly Fishing
Enjoy the day with an experienced guide, woodsman, and teacher. We don’t put up with snobbish, cliqish guides here. You will be in the hands of someone who is willing to share their hard earned lessons with you, take you to there secret fishing spots, and ensure you are safe, well fed, and "hooked up!"
We have one of the most patient knowledgeable guide staffs you will find anywhere. We have a great blend of old school guides that have been here for more than 20 years and a few young guys that are hard working, humble, talented, and passionate.

Conejos River Anglers leases or has access to 4 private ranches, has permits to fish Colorado State Trust Lands, Colorado State Leased lands, BLM, and all USFS lands in Conejos County. Here are some of the rivers and streams that provide some incredible fishing all in our backyard here. Almost 200 miles of moving water to fish here in Conejos County make it one of the most fish rich areas you will ever find. Los Pinos, Adams, La Jara, Archuleta, Chama, Conejos, Rio Grande, Treasure, Middle Fork, South Fork, Lake Fork, Elk, La Manga, Osier, and Cascade Creek are just some of your options. Pike, Splake, and all species of trout are available in Conejos County.
Private Ranches: We lease several large ranches where we have exclusive fishing access. At times we offer those properties with a rod fee of $60. These properties are patrolled, stocked, and very lightly fished and are a spectacular way to get away from the crowds and have access to some of the largest fish in the river. Please call for reservations.
Fly Shop: The Conejos River Anglers Fly Shop was put together knowing the demands of the country that surrounds it. This is a wilderness that demands "gear". We have spent years researching the best equipment, best values, in clothing and tackle. Our staff will take the time that you need to look at a map, select flies, or pick out a new rod and reel. Whether you are looking for the artistry of the very best equipment in the industry or are just interested in the basics of the craft we have it all: Sage, Galvan, G. Loomis, Ross Worldwide, Simms, Patagonia, Ross, Fishpond, Brodin, Wachter, C+F Design, Scientific Anglers, Umpqua, Solitude, Lamson, to name just a few. We also tie several hundred dozen flies each year that are specialty flies for this area.
Call us with your needs, We think you will find us to not just be experts in our field but helpful and willing to spend some time with you that you need.
